Golden Valley Christian Church

". . . 'Brothers, what shall we do?' Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.'" (Acts 2:37-38) The Golden Valley Christian Church and the Heavenly Host rejoiced last Sunday when two of our faithful were immersed in Christian baptism. The Christian's greatest joy is to see souls won for God.

A surprise birthday celebration was held, after the service, for one of our faithful members, Judy Harris. GVCC is a church of faith, love, and joy. We pray for God's blessing on you, Judy. "Why Should We Trust the Bible?" was Bro. Tim's message question last Sunday. It is because of its historical accuracy (with dates being verified), the accuracy of the prophecy in the Old Testament, and by eye-witness testimony. No other book has survived the passage of time, as has the Bible.

The Bible challenge question is: "What excellent advice does Solomon give parents?" (Proverbs 22:6)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton. Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM. Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone #660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org. We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
