Have you ever watched a pigeon walk? Their head seems to be pumping up and down as they walk. This is because a pigeon cannot focus its eyes as it moves. The bird actually has to stop between steps in order for its eyes to refocus. (copied) This seems a little weird to those of us that have watched a pigeon, however, it has not seemed to hamper the bird in any way. It is one bird that thrives well and multiplies vigorously. Sunday, GVCC enjoyed a very bountiful noon meal. Thanks to all who pitched in to help. It would be impossible to have these nice dinners without that kind of help. Our ladies Bible study started this past Wednesday, at 7 p.m. The study is from a book by Max Lucado, entitled “Men of the Bible.”

Bro Tim’s message was, “God Walking with People,” with scripture from Galatians and John. God walked on the face of this earth as Jesus. If we want to know what God is like all we need to do is look at Jesus and His life on this earth. We are a redeemed people because of the price Jesus paid for us on the cross. As Christians, God not only walks with us but lives in us.
