Thomas A. Edison is probably the United States' most prolific inventor.  He was granted more than one thousand patents in his lifetime.  The phonograph was probably his single greatest invention.  His talent lay in perfecting the inventions of others.  But did you know he was not the greatest of scholars and had only a few months of formal schooling?  His education came from his mother, at home.  The Bible tells us we are all given talents.  It is up to us to recognize our talents and use them wisely.

In last Sunday's message, Bro. Tim recapped the life and final days of the Apostle Paul.  Paul knew his days were ending as he dictated some of his letters recorded in the Bible.  Paul had led a dynamic life and endured deep struggles, but he also had a secret for endurance.  That secret was none other than Jesus Christ.  He penned some of the most well known verses to Christians in his letter to Timothy:  "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness . . ." (2 Timothy 4:7-8)  Paul never ceased carrying the word of Jesus to all he came in contact with.  Paul is an example to all of us.

The Bible challenge question is:  "What was the agreement, made in Jerusalem, between James, Peter, and John, and Paul and Barnabas?'"  (Galatians 2:8-9)
