Golden Valley Christian Church

What a glorious Easter Sunday God gave us to worship His risen Son!  The weather was perfect for this Holy Day, and for that we thank Him.  We talk about how wonderful it would be if we kept the Christmas spirit all year long, but wouldn't it be more wonderful if we maintained, also, the Easter spirit all year long?  We thank the many visitors that attended, and invite them back.

Easter Sunday was a truly magnificent day at Golden Valley Christian Church, starting out with an early morning message, a bountiful breakfast, an exciting egg hunt for the youngsters, and an uplifting worship service.  In the 10:30 service, many of our faithful brought various kinds of specials, including readings and songs, that gave tribute to our living God.  It was such a blessing to have so many people volunteer their talents, in order to praise our Lord, on this very special day.  Bro. Tim ended the services, reminding us of the hope we have in Jesus for our own salvation.  We should all be so thankful that Jesus was willing to bear the burden of the cross that we might have eternal life with Him.  Jesus paid a huge price for us, and we should not forget it.
