Golden Valley Christian Church

Golden Valley Christian Church celebrated a wonderful Easter Sunday!  It was a day of great celebration and love.  We welcomed many visitors and friends to help us rejoice the resurrection of our Lord.  In our early morning service, Bro. Tim helped us recall the events of Jesus' death and resurrection.  All believers base their convictions not on His death, but on a risen savior that the grave could not hold.  After the message, the congregation enjoyed a delicious breakfast, and the youngsters enjoyed an egg hunt.

Our 10:30 service consisted of Bro. Tim and Ken Jones giving the Biblical account of Jesus' death and resurrection, accompanied by musical selections.  We thank Georgia Randall for a beautiful solo, "Fairest Lord Jesus;" a men's group singing "'Are Ye Able,' Said the Master;" a ladies group rendition of "Were You There?;" and a tear-jerking solo of "He's Alive" by Derek Cross.  Wouldn't it be great if everyone would rejoice and attend church the other fifty-one Sunday's of the year like they do on Easter?

The Bible challenge question is:  "Before Jesus' ascension into Heaven, what was His command, now known as the "Great Commission?'"  (Matt 28:18-20)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton.  Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM.  Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone #660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org.  We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
