Power is an awesome thing.  There are different kinds of power, as we all know.  Many people have seen the power of a tornado or a hurricane, and the havoc that comes with it.  We also know of the power in an atomic bomb and the destruction it can cause.  But have you ever thought of the power in prayer?  Nobody can estimate the power of prayer, because the most powerful being the world will ever know has His full commitment behind it.  Golden Valley Christian Church is updating their prayer chain so that when a need arises, there will be many petitions sent to Heaven for that need.  God answers all prayers, maybe not in the way we want it, but in the way that is best for us.  Do not forget to talk to our loving God each day; He is waiting to hear from you.

Rebellion against authority is nothing new, but it seems as if it is becoming more prevalent today.  Bro. Tim's message, from Ephesians 6:1-9, gives us a guide in how to deal with this problem.  It starts with the family unit, how children are to learn to obey their parents and how parents are to deal with their children.  It ends with the proper behavior of slaves and masters or, in this day, employers and employees.  It is good, solid advice, and one that should be heeded for happy relationships.
