Golden Valley Christian Church

If it wasn't for weather, many people would not know how to start a conversation.  In Missouri, the weather we have been experiencing has been amazing, with warmth and lack of snow.  So naturally, the conversation turns to weather, and this past Sunday was truly a great February day.  The congregation at Golden Valley Christian Church not only enjoyed the beautiful day, but also, a bountiful carry-in luncheon.  The theme was "Chinese," however, there were many different types of food on the table, all deliciously complementing the "oriental" dishes.  Thanks to all who pitch in and help with these activities!

The current renovation of our building is basically done.  What a tremendous difference it has made to the vestibule and hallway!  We give the glory and honor to God in this endeavor to make His place of worship more pleasant and peaceful.

Bro. Tim's message focused on the Apostle Paul's instructions, for husbands and wives, on marriage.  Perhaps societies' attitude toward marriage has changed, but God's attitude has not.  If married couples would abide by the advice given in Eph. 5:21-33, there would be happier, long-lasting marriages.
