Golden Valley Christian Church

Unfortunately, today is going to be the last day on earth for a number of people.  If you knew for certain it was going to be your last day, how would you live it?  Would your behavior be different?  Would you realize that what you thought was so important, is meaningless?  There is a saying, "Live each day as though it was your last, because one day it will be."

Our Tuesday and Wednesday Bible studies continue.  Last week was a very good beginning for the studies.  Call the church office for more information if you would like to join one of these very informative studies.  You will be warmly welcomed.

At our Sunday morning service, Mary Tuggle read an article entitled "Firefly or Glow-Worm, Which are You?"  Bro. Tim's message, entitled "Fear's Remedy," used scripture from I John 4:13-21.  This scripture tells us we should have no fears of the judgment because of God's promises to us.  We fall short of living as God wants us to, but God has much love and patience with us.  If we look at what Jesus did for us, and follow His will, we can be assured of our salvation.  We know God keeps His promises.

The Bible challenge question is:  "What three choices of punishment did God give King David after David had sinned?'"  (II Samuel 24:11-13)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton.  Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM.  Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone #660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org.  We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
