Golden Valley Christian Church

"Where has this year gone?"  Have you ever heard that statement, or even said it to yourself?  This is the time of year when New Year resolutions will be made and, in all probability, broken within a month.  Sometimes our will is weaker than our resolve.  One of the best resolutions that could be made would involve growing closer to our Lord, Jesus Christ.  Reading the entire Bible through the year would be a great start!

Sunday morning, Georgia Randall shared a beautiful message in song.  Bro. Tim's message was entitled "Jesus Came to Bring Light."  There were three points to this message:  1. Light attracts attention. 2. Light directs us.  3. Light dispels darkness.  Jesus still impacts our world with His light.  Monday evening, Golden Valley Christian Church celebrated the season with a Christmas Eve service.  Atticus & Abrielle Jones sang a song for us, and their grandparents, Ken and Marla Jones, also sang a beautiful Christmas duet.

The Bible challenge question is:  "What was the prophecy about Jesus that Simeon gave to Mary?"  (Luke 2:34-35)

The Golden Valley Christian Church meets at 611 South Third Street in Clinton.  Our Sunday Bible classes begin at 9:30 AM, and morning worship is at 10:30 AM.  Our full-time minister is Bro. Tim Randall (office phone #660-890-0252), and our website is www.goldenvalleycc.org.  We are happy to invite you to attend our services, where you will always receive a warm welcome.
